The BX114 Cogged belts have slots that run perpendicular to the belt’s length reducing the belt’s bending resistance. On of the characteristics of the BX114 Cogged belts is that if they are used with the same pulleys as equivalently rated classical non cogged v belts but they will run cooler, last longer, and have a 2% over classical V-belts. The BX114 could be used with smaller pulleys producing more horsepower and speed into pulleys at lower energy costs.

Belt exceeded my expectations

I could not find this belt in any local merchant. When searching the web I found a few vendors had the belt but the dementions were inconsistent and the price was over $60.00 for all I viewed. After searching I found the belt on the GPR web site and at a VERY reasonable price and they indicated it was in stock. I purchased in hope the belt would not be a cheap Chinese reproduction. It is an exact duplicate of the original belt and appears superior in quality. Since it has just been installed I cannot attest to its service life but I see no reason it will not last as log, if not longer than the belt it is replacing.
